Kim is a community lawyer-turned- social entrepreneur and innovator who is passionate about exploring the wicked solutions that arise when multiple realms collide, including: human rights, innovation and community engagement. From delivering capacity-building and startup accelerator programs, running workshops to support social enterprises and businesses, mentoring young professionals in pursuing purpose-driven work, Kim is always buzzing with ideas and exploring innovative ways to collaborate for change.

Meet our interns

Tien is a dynamic and goal-driven second-year university student from La Trobe University.

With a double major in Agribusiness and Digital Business, her overarching goal is to assist agribusinesses of all sizes to reach their full potential and thrive within the digital realm. She has participated in various community-centred activities, including charity work, children's education, and research projects that contribute to a better future for young generations in Vietnam. Tien is excited to join Global Ideas Lab as an intern because its work aligns with her values and aspirations. This internship provides a unique opportunity for her to collaborate with like-minded individuals and work on projects that promote social impact and innovation. Tien is eager to contribute, learn, and grow with the Global Ideas Lab team and hopes that the knowledge, experience, and network she gains from this opportunity will help shape her path to becoming a prominent force in the field of agribusiness and social entrepreneurship.

Programs Intern - THUY TIEN VU

Thanush is a business analytics student from La Trobe University with a strong affinity for business, finance and data analysis. Alongside cotinuously reading books and articles in these areas and learning new skills and theories to refine his sql,python and R knowledge, he often participates in case and pitching competitions, language learning, volunteering programmes and martial arts.

Thanush is participating in this internship because he wants to enter the consulting and startup world and gain meaningful professional experience, and as a result leverage the many skills and different subject matters learnt during the internship in future careers-whether it be in a corporate space or the entrepreneurial space. Also, he is quite keen in supporting and contributing a significant impact to an organisation that brings people, communities and organisations together to transcend complex social and environmental challenges.
